HIMEKANA is home to naturally and indigenous made products. We create ethically handcrafted products that are kind to the environment. Come to your hand in simple and basic design, HIMEKANA wants to make you feel that every part of the clothes represent the connection between human and nature.
Dedicated to creating the cleanest and most sustainable clothing possible, we use Bemberg Jacquard fabric (made from cottonseed) - 100% organic natural fibres, and natural dyes to colour the fabric.
Bemberg has a detailed texture, soft, breathable and light. The material is biodegradable and no water pollution during the production process. Indigo dye ( Strobilanthes Cusia leaves) is used to colour the fabric together with application of Nui shibori technique, while the pattern is inspired by the mountains in Indonesia.
Material: Bemberg Fabric 100% cotton
CareLoving Handcraft work which is identic with Indonesian creativity, we present this short sleeve outer with round neck secured sweetly with a button at front. NUI Shibori Technique is used with simple running stich on the piece then pulled tight and gathered. Each thread is secured by knotting before being dyed to allow greater control of the pattern. This technique is time consuming.
